Our Events

The driver co-operative society was registered with nearly 1300 members (including women) and a share capital of INR 2 million. The co-operative was part of a huge effort undertaken by the project to create a model that can benefit auto-drivers and their families respectively. Post the registration of the co-operative, board members were nominated to oversee the work of the society with the project providing background support. The 1st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the co-operative was held on April 20, 2019 with all the members and their families coming together to celebrate the formation of the co-operative and talk about the plan ahead.

The project will continue to work towards bringing additional members to the co-operative and achieve it's objective of 2500 members by the end of 2019.
