Pune roundtable conference
For scaling up the Namma Auto project and its positive impacts, there is a need for collective business action. A step in this direction is to promote consultation and engagement with Automotive manufacturers (Marketing, Operations, CSR, Supply Chain, etc.) and other relevant stakeholders.
Brief: The second out of the proposed four roundtable events was held in the city of Pune to promote sustainable intermediate transport discussions among various stakeholders while also strengthening linkages of SDGs, CSR, National guidelines with Sustainable transport.
The objective for these roundtables was to collect the diverse inputs that would help in developing a voluntary guideline for sustainable Intermediate transportation in India and identify the key business drivers in this sector.
Participants: Automotive manufacturers, research institutes, IT corporates like Infosys were a part of the group of 13 stakeholders who were part of this discussion.
